Internet videos have exploded in popularity over the past couple of years. Accessability, quality, and people wanting to feel like they are stars are some of the main factors in the increased production of on-line videos.
Regular people are not the only ones utilizing this technology, though. Major networks are now putting their television shows on the internet, and making them available to anyone.
Most of the home made content that is put on the web is completely useless, but every once in a while something will come up that actually serves a tangible purpose.
The biggest problem that advertisers have is the fact that the videos become obsolete so quickly. A video can go from the most viewed on the web on Monday to completely off the radar by Wednesday.

i agree that online videos are definetly taking over. More and more internet users are posting their own videos as well. some are ridiculously funny, entertaining, and draw people to the site or blog that it was postd on.
Successful videos stick around for awhile, and those are the type of videos advertisers want to be apart of.
