The video is just annoying. Period.
As far as reaching a desired audience on line, I think that the Chanel campaign is going to be successful. It seems like they are doine a good job of creating buzz and bringing the right people into the mix. The flavor of the week theme is there by getting rid of Moss and bringing in Knightley. I think that only allowing a few people to see the ads now is going to create a positive buzz. The pictures are on www.tiffanystore.com.
The second life idea seemed like a bad version of the sims. I don't follow virtual worlds at all, but it seems like I hear about a new one every day. Someone is going to have a ground-breaking idea to make the virtual world fresh again

chanel will probably follow in the steps of other clients who finally decided to follow in the internet trend. they made a good move, hopefully it pays out.
Of course that video is annoying. So annoying and ridiculous that everyone wanted to watch it? Strange...
I do think chanel will be more succesful then others. They are creating buzz to make people go and look at their ideas. Much like the new diddy commercial, they are not showing on TV but you can look it up online.
