Internet content

The video is just annoying. Period.

As far as reaching a desired audience on line, I think that the Chanel campaign is going to be successful. It seems like they are doine a good job of creating buzz and bringing the right people into the mix. The flavor of the week theme is there by getting rid of Moss and bringing in Knightley. I think that only allowing a few people to see the ads now is going to create a positive buzz. The pictures are on www.tiffanystore.com.

The second life idea seemed like a bad version of the sims. I don't follow virtual worlds at all, but it seems like I hear about a new one every day. Someone is going to have a ground-breaking idea to make the virtual world fresh again

Banner advertising seems to be the most effective form of internet advertising. Banner ads can appear anywhere on a web page, and allow the viewer to be interactive with the ad. I see banner ads everyday for products that are mainly sports related. I spend a lot of time on sports web sites, so I am subject to various tickets, merchandise, and team related banner ads. I will click on banner ads that are advertising Michigan or Bears merchandise.

www.espn.com and www.si.com both featured banner ads today that were designed to attract the attention of football fans seeking new merchandise.

I agree with the assesment that banner blindness is real, and a possible advertising problem. I do not pay very close attention to material on a page that is not directly linked to the story that I am involved in with. I also believe that people have become more aware of the tricks that banner ads can pull, so I would expect to see less success in banner ads that represent themselves as message boxes

privacy info.

I have not been able to fully access the cookies and history information for my computer. All that I get when I look at my history is a blank page with a search bar that will not load any of my requests.

I can tell you that my search habits are always the same. My history would be a combination of mlive.com, si.com, espn.com, drudgereport.com, webmail.com, thewolverine.com, scout.com, and sportsbook.com

I am always going to be concerned that my personal information is going to be used for the wrong reasons. I am always concerned when purchasing items off of the internet, or signing up for new features.
